Our italian ice recipe was brought straight from Philadelphia by the founder "Joe," and has become a novelty for all ages across Manatee County. At age 13, Bradenton native Zach Callahan began working at the shop sweeping floors and learning how to serve customers at the window. After 6 years, and many laughs about one day taking over the operation, he & his mother Vicki took over the shop as business partners, with the goal to grow within the community as much as possible. After 4 years of ownership, and plans to grow the franchise to multiple locations, things are only looking up for the Mother-Son duo. With the incorporation of a trailer, inflatable kiosk, retail prepackaged units, and delicious new flavors, Coco Joe's is ready to connect and serve every bit of the Bradenton community.
